LOCS (2017) is an iterative piece that exaggerates sites of body contact to explore intra-group, and intergenerational, body dialogue. Its first iteration focuses on the site of hands, heads and hair, unearthing multigenerational lessons by asking: what are the chains that have been woven into us?
This work was commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Local Dance Commissioning Project.
